This year we decided to combine our Armed Forces Day and Summer Fete events to create one huge family fun day called the REME Museum Extravaganza.
It was a massive success thanks to 5 and 8 Battalions REME, the Corps Engagement Team, School of Army Aeronautical Engineering, local businesses and so many more!
We had an APACHE (😱), an SVR for visitors to try out, metalsmiths showing off their forging skills, vehicle mechanics demonstrating how engines work and more. Plus, games and activities for the kids, barbecue from Crown’s Cafe and vehicles from our Reserve Collection!
